Job summary

LifeSci Capital, a research-driven investment bank in New York, seeks an Associate to bridge finance and life sciences. You will collaborate with analysts to evaluate drugs across oncology, immunology, neurology, and genetic medicine, dissect literature, perform market analyses, and engage with leading scientist and C-suite biotech executives.

You will learn fundamental due diligence, modeling, and valuation techniques to produce high-quality equity research.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in medical/science or biotech

Responsibilities

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the biotechnology sector.
• Work directly with analysts to evaluate drugs in various therapeutic areas (oncology, immunology, neurology, genetic medicine).
• Dissect scientific literature, perform market analyses, and engage with top scientists and biotech executives.
• Master due diligence, modeling and valuation techniques, and communicate findings to investors.
• Produce high-quality, sector-wide and company-specific equity research.
• Pursue FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 7, 86, 87) as applicable.
