Citi's Equity Research team in New York seeks a Senior Associate for Technology & Communications to co-author institutional research, build financial models, and contribute to Citi's thought leadership through reports, multimedia, and events.

The role blends public markets with venture capital insight, requires strong modeling and communication skills, and offers a hybrid schedule with in-person collaboration several days a week.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of sell-side equity research experience in Technology & Communications or related sector.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to construct and maintain complex financial models and understand valuation frameworks.
• Experience preparing research materials and client-facing communications.

Responsibilities

• Author and co-publish equity research across the Technology & Communications sector, including earnings previews and initiations.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models including earnings forecasts and scenario analysis.
• Provide timely insights to internal and external clients on sector developments and covered companies.
• Coordinate investor events including meetings and field trips with high-quality client experience.
• Integrate AI tools to improve data analysis, publication cycles, and output quality.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performing research environment.
• Uphold integrity of research outputs, adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.
