Verista, Inc. in Cambridge, MA seeks a hands-on Business Systems Analyst to bridge wet-lab scientists, computational biologists, and data platform engineers. Translate complex workflows into technical specs, epics, and architecture diagrams.

You will map end-to-end data lifecycles, convert use cases into actionable stories, manage the backlog with the Platform Lead, and develop documentation to drive platform adoption for scientific users. On-site in Cambridge, MA three days per week is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Life Sciences, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5+ years as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Product Analyst in biotech or life sciences.
• Experience with multi-omics data modalities (scRNA-seq, spatial omics, proteomics).
• Agile/Scrum delivery using Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to translate between bench scientists and software teams; on-site in Cambridge, MA 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Business Process Mapping across cross-functional biology teams.
• Translate scientific use cases into epics, user stories, and diagrams.
• Delivery management: groom backlog and plan sprints with Platform Lead.
• Create clear user documentation and IT SOPs to drive platform adoption.
