GenScript USA Inc./ProBio Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer to manage the site’s automation systems, including SCADA, PLCs, notification systems and QC lab instruments.Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, validation, change control, and retirement of systems, coordinating with IT, Manufacturing, Facilities, QA, and vendors.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5–7 years of automation experience in biologics production.
Experience with SCADA/control systems and validation.
Knowledge of FDA/ICH 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP.
Proficient with office software and MES/CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

Manage SCADA/PLC systems, validation and lifecycle documentation.
Coordinate Change Controls and QA with IT, Facilities, and vendors.
Develop validation protocols and test scripts.
On-site administration of automation systems and cybersecurity.
Provide SME for automation changes and technology upgrades.
