Job summary

Stellaromics Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking an Accounting Associate to own day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable as the company scales.

Reporting to the Controller, you will process vendor invoices, bill customers, manage collections, and keep AP/AR subledgers reconciled for month-end close. This hands-on role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants to build a strong foundation in a growing life sciences company and expand into broader close and reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices end to end and code to correct GL accounts.
Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, wire) for review and approval.
Review and process employee expense reports and corporate card transactions.
Prepare and issue customer invoices for instruments, consumables, and service contracts.
Maintain AR subledger and monitor collections with Sales and Customer Success.
Reconcile AP/AR subledgers to the general ledger and assist month-end close.
Support year-end 1099s with external tax advisors.
