Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Business Development Executive to support Pharma Services Biotech Account Management. The role focuses on driving sales across diverse drug modalities, including biologics and cell therapy, with remote flexibility on the East Coast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required.
• 3–5 years of quota-carrying field sales or business development experience.
• Experience selling to CDMOs and in drug modalities (Steriles, Solid Dosage, Biologics, Cell Therapy, Viral Vector, API) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills including financial acumen.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth and achieve or exceed annual operating plan targets.
• Secure new molecules, service expansions and increase share of wallet for existing biotech accounts.
• Conduct consultative selling through full sales cycle from outreach to contract execution.
• Develop and close commercial opportunities, quotations and contracts.
