Maximus is seeking a Junior Biostatistician to collect, engineer, process, and analyze data supporting military activities and readiness. The role emphasizes scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with SQL Server and Databricks, data quality, and predictive analytics using ML techniques. Familiarity with NLP, LLMs, and low-code platforms is valuable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of experience in quantitative science or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive insights for stakeholders.
• Act as data and analytics point of contact across multiple projects and guide product performance.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights around operations and project data.
• Design and implement metrics, functions, and scripts as KPIs as needed.
• Code to segment populations from large datasets and ensure data quality.
• Create and maintain documentation and artifacts for transparency.
• Develop ad hoc tools to support analytical areas.
• Learn emerging technologies and support company initiatives.
• Support team communication and strategy implementation.
• Participate in project management activities.
