Job summary

Maximus in Utah is seeking a data-focused professional to design and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and deliver actionable insights for stakeholders. You will serve as the primary data and analytics contact across multiple projects, guiding partners on product performance and readiness initiatives.

Responsibilities include building ETL/ELT pipelines with SQL Server and Databricks, creating dashboards in Power BI, and developing new metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Strong SQL Server / SQL / T-SQL skills and data modeling basics.
• Hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark experience, preferably PySpark.
• Foundational Python or R for analysis and ML workflows.
• Experience building Power BI reports and semantic models.
• Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate for integration.
• Basic familiarity with NLP and Large Language Models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data for insights.
• Act as data/analytical lead across multiple projects and guide stakeholders.
• Create dashboards and analytics products using Power BI.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with SQL Server and Databricks.
• Acquire, integrate, and prepare data from multiple sources for reporting.
• Document data sources, transformations, and methodologies.
