Job summary

Maximus is seeking a data analytics professional to analyze operational data, build KPIs, and guide project results. You will develop ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks, create Power BI dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission needs into actionable analyses.

Responsibilities include integrating data from diverse sources, maintaining data quality, and supporting automation via Power Apps and Power Automate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency with SQL Server/SQL/T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark (preferably PySpark).
• Foundational programming skills in Python or R.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and reproducible pipelines.
• Experience building visual analytics with Power BI (reports, datasets, semantic models).
• Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow integration.
• Basic familiarity with NLP and Large Language Models.
• Ability to translate mission needs into data requirements and analytical outputs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to derive insights for stakeholders.
• Serve as data analytics contact across projects and guide on product performance.
• Develop KPIs, functions, and scripts as needed.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks (Spark/PySpark).
• Create dashboards in Power BI and ensure reliable metrics and reporting.
• Prepare data from multiple sources for ready-to-use analytics.
• Document data sources, transformations, and methodologies.
