Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a data analytics professional in Seattle to analyze operational data and deliver actionable insights for stakeholders and partners. You'll develop KPIs, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and create Power BI dashboards to support readiness and mission planning.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience, strong SQL Server/Data + Databricks skills, and proficiency in Python or R. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and document methodologies for transparency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent.
5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
Working knowledge of SQL Server/SQL/T-SQL.
Databricks and Apache Spark experience, preferably PySpark.
Proficiency in Python or R for analysis.
Experience building visuals with Power BI.
Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate.
Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, data quality checks.

Responsibilities

Analyze operational data to derive actionable insights for stakeholders.
Serve as point of contact for data usage across projects and guide partners on performance.
Analyze data to identify trends and provide analyses of operations and project data.
Develop and implement new metrics, functions, and scripts as KPIs.
Create and maintain documentation and artifacts for analyses.
Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks.
Create dashboards and analytics products using Power BI.
Support low-code solutions by integrating data into Power Apps and Power Automate.
Document data sources, transformations, and analytical methodologies.
