Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Business Development Director, Biospecimen in Seattle to identify, engage and close major opportunities for biospecimen solutions. You will build relationships with key clients, expand existing accounts, and collaborate with marketing, clinical operations and lab teams to grow recurring business.

The role demands life sciences expertise, 3+ years in related roles, and the ability to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of sales experience in Life Science or Healthcare
• 3+ years of Laboratory Research, Service, Clinical Operations, or customer support in Life Science industry

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities for Biospecimen products and services
• Builds and maintains relationship and organization map for assigned and identified new Key Clients
• Retain and grow existing account base through cross-selling across the Precision Translational Sciences portfolio
• Qualifies leads from marketing and website inquiries
• Prospects for new clients within geographic market to ensure a robust pipeline
• Identify clients and decision makers; perform needs analysis and follow up
• Ensure client complaints are resolved promptly and professionally
• Closes new business and expands existing relationships
• Connects SMEs and other BD’s when added value is present
• Establishes strong working relationships with marketing, clinical operations, lab operations, and project management
• Attend conferences, trade shows and meetings as required
• Maintain CRM metrics in Salesforce.com and other systems
• Other responsibilities as assigned
