Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Business Development Director (Biospecimen Solutions) to identify, engage, develop, and close major opportunities in biospecimen offerings across the assigned region. The role emphasizes building client relationships, qualifying inbound leads, and expanding existing accounts.

The ideal candidate has a Life Sciences background, sales experience, and the ability to travel up to 35%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 1–2 years of sales experience in Life Science or Healthcare.
• 3+ years of Laboratory Research, Service, Clinical Operations, or customer support in Life Science industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for Biospecimen products and services.
• Build and maintain relationship maps for key clients.
• Retain and grow existing accounts through cross-selling across Precision Translational Sciences portfolio.
• Follow up on marketing leads to qualify leads.
• Prospect for new clients within the geographic market to ensure a robust pipeline.
• Identify decision makers, perform needs analysis, and follow up with potential customers.
• Ensure client complaints are resolved promptly and professionally.
• Close new business and expand existing relationships.
• Connect SMEs and other BDs where value is added.
• Establish strong working relationships with marketing, clinical operations, lab operations, and project management.
• Qualify and enrich inbound leads.
• Close business and develop future recurring revenue.
• Attend conferences, trade shows, and meetings as required.
• Maintain clean CRM metrics in Salesforce and other systems.
