Job summary

GenVault in West Deptford, NJ is seeking a Biorepository Material Associate to handle, store, and track biological specimens and related lab materials in a GMP-compliant biorepository facility. You will manage receiving, accessioning, data entry, quality checks, and inventory control using LIMS, while following strict biosafety guidelines and client specifications.

This role is part-time and on-site, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
• Experience with LIMS, inventory management, and biosafety protocols is a plus.
• Ability to follow strict client instructions and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies and client instructions.
• Utilize LIMS for material management and track movement with a barcode scanner.
• Receive shipments and accession material into storage locations per client specs.
• Perform incoming/outgoing shipment inspections and document damages.
• Notify management of nonconformances or deviations.
• Prepare material for shipment and maintain inventory records.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and qualification activities.
• Operate elevators and assist with IQ/OQ/PQ UAT scripts for storage units.
