Job summary

GenVault is seeking a Biorepository Material Associate in West Deptford, NJ. You will handle, process, store, and track biological specimens, lab supplies, and GMP products in a compliant biorepository facility.

You will use LIMS with a barcode scanner to manage material movement, receive shipments, perform inspections, and ensure inventory accuracy while following strict biosafety protocols. This role is part-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be self-starting, results-oriented and a team player.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; healthcare compliance certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies, procedures, and client instructions.
• Use LIMS with barcode scanner to track material movement.
• Receive shipments and accession materials per client requirements.
• Perform incoming and outgoing shipment inspections.
• Document and report damaged material.
• Notify management of nonconformances/ deviations.
• Retrieve and prepare material for shipment.
• Maintain equipment and schedule maintenance.
• Operate freight elevator for material transfer.
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ/UAT for controlled storage units.
