Job summary

Elevait Solutions LLC is seeking a Bioprocess Research Associate (AAV Gene Therapy) to join our Research Triangle Park team. The role focuses on running rAAV manufacturing and GLP-grade studies, scaling from small to pilot processes, and maintaining tight batch records.

You will culture cells, perform purification steps, and document data in real time while supporting investigations and protocol development. Onsite in RTP, 12-month contract, with strong emphasis on hands-on lab work.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in biotechnology, chemistry, biochemistry, or biochemical/chemical engineering with hands-on lab experience.
• Experience with upstream or downstream bioprocess operations and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Run defined rAAV manufacturing and GLP-grade studies per protocols and batch records.
• Grow and maintain cell cultures and produce vector at small and pilot scale.
• Execute centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, and related purification steps.
• Record lab work and data in real time and help complete batch records.
• Support manufacturing investigations with data and write technical reports.
