Job summary

POET maintains a 12-hour shift, 3-2-2-3 rotation schedule at their Chancellor, SD facility. The Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains plant equipment, ensures safety and SOP compliance, and collaborates with teams to optimize operations in a bioprocessing environment.

The role requires knowledge of process flow, oil and water systems, and DCS/PLC operations, with training provided as needed. On-site work emphasizes a culture of safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfort with reading schematics and basic electrical concepts.
• Experience or comfort with Maximo CMMS and plant maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe, preventative maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
• Communicate issues to management and assist in improving SOP adherence.
• Operate, inspect, and document maintenance tasks across multiple systems.
• Work 12-hour shifts as needed and coordinate with team members.
