Job summary

Genesis AEC in Medford, MA, is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex MEP Pharma engineering projects. You will oversee scope, budgets, schedules, and client relations across multiple facilities, coordinating with BIM and design teams to ensure QA/QC excellence.

The role demands a strong engineering background and experience managing life sciences lab and cleanroom projects, with opportunities for growth and a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in engineering/construction settings.
• 6+ years of specific industry experience, preferably life sciences.
• Strong engineering or architectural background with design for life sciences labs.
• Familiarity with PM methodologies and best practices to drive performance.
• MUST manage budgets, scope, schedules, and client changes effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute multiple large and medium projects on time and within budget.
• Lead project teams and liaise with internal departments as needed.
• Manage client interactions and nurture positive relationships.
• Assess requirements and develop sound approaches to meet project needs.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and assist in design budget development.
• Monitor budgets, scope, schedules, staffing, and deliverables.
• Identify scope changes and negotiate with clients.
• Maintain change logs and conduct status review meetings.
• Identify risks and work to mitigate them with leadership.
• Coordinate with BIM/design software group and QA/QC reviews.
• Support construction administration and distribution of shop drawings and RFIs.
