Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead the cross-functional IPT at our Wilson, NC sterile biopharma manufacturing site. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, compliant production across multi-shift operations.

The role requires a BA/BS in science or engineering, 12+ years across functions, and 5+ years of people leadership. You will drive lean improvements, manage budgets, and support site and network strategies while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Science or Engineering with 12+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing multi-layered operations teams.
• Strong leadership, influence, communication, and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution ensuring compliance with Safety, Environmental, cGMP, and labor regs.
• Manage budget and capital projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop and lead a multi-shift operations team.
• Promote an inclusive culture and positive employee relations.
• Support site and network strategies.
• Monitor safety and quality standards; ensure operational efficiency.
