Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Manufacturing Lead for cell culture biopharma operations in North Carolina. This on-site role oversees daily GMP operations on a 12‑hour rotating shift, with a focus on upstream processes and strict aseptic controls.

You will execute and document process steps, support validation, ensure compliance, and lead process activities as SME while coordinating with the Shift Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent; 4–5 years in leadership.
• Proven leadership in cGMP cell culture manufacturing.
• Experience with upstream bioprocessing.
• Experience in aseptic environments.
• Familiarity with DeltaV or LIMS manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document process steps.
• Support validation activities.
• Ensure cGMP compliance.
• Lead process activities as SME.
• Coordinate shift operations with the Shift Manager.
• Train and mentor associates.
• Participate in deviations investigations and troubleshooting.
