Qualifikationen

• College degree and Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; academic honors preferred.
• Admitted in good standing to at least one U.S. state bar; North Carolina admission preferred.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably supporting CDMO/life-sciences.
• Strong commercial-contracting background with experience drafting and negotiating complex services, development, manufacturing, supply, licensing, and confidentiality agreements.
• Strong negotiation, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage a substantial workload in a dynamic, global, and matrixed environment.
• Familiarity with life sciences topics and multi-jurisdictional contracting.

Aufgaben

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Advise business teams on legal and contractual issues; support issue resolution and deal closure.
• Identify risks and mitigate; escalate material, novel, or high-risk matters.
• Manage an assigned caseload with independence and clear stakeholder communication.
• Provide advice on IP provisions in coordination with patent counsel.
• Prepare clear briefings and practical recommendations for colleagues.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and contracting standards across FLBG.
• Deliver legal training on contracting and compliance topics.
• Support process improvements including contract lifecycle management and data insights.
• Coordinate with internal experts and outside counsel on specialized matters.
• Support dispute avoidance and ancillary legal support to HR, EHS, Quality, etc.
• Collaborate with US/UK/Denmark and global FUJIFILM to promote standards.
