Job summary

FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation seeks an experienced Counsel to provide practical, business-focused legal advice across global CDMO operations. You will draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, identify and mitigate risks, and support strategic programs with cross-functional teams.

Role requires a JD, bar admission in at least one state (NC preferred), and 3–8 years in law firms or in-house settings within life-sciences or related industries.

Qualifications

• College degree and Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; academic honors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, supply, development, manufacturing, and licensing agreements.
• Advise Commercial, Program Management, and other business teams on legal and contractual issues from collaborations, bids, and programs.
• Identify legal, regulatory, and business risks relevant to CDMO and life-sciences operations and mitigate or escalate.
• Manage an assigned caseload with independence, prioritizing work based on need and deadlines.
• Provide advice on non-contentious IP provisions, in coordination with patent counsel.
• Prepare clear briefings and practical recommendations for business colleagues and management.
• Develop and maintain templates, playbooks, and contracting standards across FLBG.
• Deliver legal training on contracting, precedents, processes, and compliance topics.
• Support contract lifecycle management, document management, data insights, and responsible use of AI.
• Coordinate with internal experts and outside counsel on regulatory, employment, disputes, real estate, privacy, competition, and corporate matters.
• Support dispute avoidance and provide ancillary legal support to HR, EHS, Quality, Capital Projects, and Compliance.
• Collaborate with US, UK, Denmark and global FUJIFILM to promote consistent standards and governance.
