Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician to support USCIS ASC operations in Hauppauge, NY. This part-time role involves biometrics processing, front-line customer service, and ensuring secure entry for applicants with proper credentials.

The position requires English fluency, a high school diploma, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided, and hours are typically 20 per week across weekdays.

Qualifications

• Must obtain facility credentials and maintain authorization.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must speak and write in English.
• Able to stand for scheduled shift duration.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment with the public.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures.
• Screen applicants to verify valid appointment notice and identification.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the US Government.
• Utilize crowd control barriers to ensure safe, orderly entry.
• Maintain visitor control logs and reconcile biometrics paperwork.
• Assist in facility checks and report concerns to the Site Supervisor.
