Job summary

Amentum is seeking a part-time Biometric Technician to support USCIS ASC operations in Ft. Myers, FL. You will perform biometric registrations, ensure proper entry controls, and deliver frontline customer service representing Amentum and the U.S. government.

The role requires fingerprints, photos, and signatures processing, crowd control, and completion of biometrics training within sixty days. A High School diploma and English proficiency are required, with eligibility for facility credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required for credentials at this site.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand for scheduled shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp hands to obtain quality fingerprints.
• Ability to work in a high-paced public environment.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Complete biometrics training and be certified within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure facility access is limited to approved applicants and visitors, assisting with crowd control.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Perform quality biometrics processing including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures.
• Screen applicants with valid appointment notices and IDs for entry.
• Utilize crowd control barriers to maintain safe entry.
• Visually inspect belongings; manage entry per health/safety requirements.
• Support site supervision and call local authorities when necessary.
• Maintain administrative paperwork: processing times, biometrics reconciliation, visitor logs.
