Job summary

eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, seeks Health Screeners for as-needed health screening events in Eau Claire, WI. You will perform biometric tests and blood draws at client sites, maintaining accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, a phlebotomy credential, and morning availability; prior health screening or phlebotomy experience is preferred. Mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current national Phlebotomy certification from a Premise Health approved organization OR a certificate/diploma with hands-on externship.
• Active state phlebotomy certification required for NV, CA, WA, and LA.
• 1 year of Health Screening or Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Must pass a full background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric testing and record results (height, weight, blood pressure, BMI).
• Blood testing including fingerstick and/or venipuncture draws in a fast-paced setting.
• Prepare specimens for storage or processing.
• Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric stations.
• May transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs).
• Maintain logs and records for Laboratory transactions as required by regulations.
• Must have morning availability (Mon-Fri) for event-based employment.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking Health Screeners to join our team in Eau Claire, WI. eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, specializes in national biometric screenings and we have exciting opportunities for Mobile Phlebotomists and Health Screeners.

About the role: These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies.

What would make you successful in this role? Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)

• Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
• Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
• Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA

Experience

• 1 year of experience of Health Screening or Phlebotomy experience preferred
