Job summary

Premise Health, via its eHealthScreenings division, is seeking Biometric Health Screeners for Green Bay, WI to support on-site biometric screenings at local companies. Roles are as-needed with flexible event-based schedules and competitive pay.

Ideal candidates have venipuncture or fingerstick experience, strong customer service, and the ability to perform blood pressure measurements. Morning weekday availability is required for event-based assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• National Phlebotomy certification or Premise Health approved alternative.
• Hands-on externship completed in phlebotomy.
• Active state phlebotomy certification in NV/CA/WA/LA where applicable.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric testing: height, weight, BP, body fat, BMI.
• Conduct fingerstick or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced setting.
• Set up/break down portable biometric stations and transport supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs for all laboratory transactions per regulations.

We are currently seeking Biometric Health Screeners to join our team in Green Bay, WI. eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, specializes in national biometric screenings and we have exciting opportunities for Biometric Health Screeners in your area.

About the role:

These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform biometric health screenings for the employees of the companies.

What would make you successful in this role? Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processingSet up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
• May require other duties as assigned

Required Experience/Availability

• Have completed a minimum of 200 successful venipunctures within the last year, preferably within in the last 6 months and/or 100 fingersticks performed in the last year
• Able to use a manual blood pressure cuff with no assistance
• Must be available to work a PRN, event-driven position, mainly during the weekday mornings

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
• Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
