Job summary

Premise Health and its eHealthScreenings division are seeking Health Screeners in Madison, WI to support mobile biometric screenings for corporate events. The role emphasizes accurate biometric data collection, customer service, and professional conduct across fast-paced events.

This PRN, event-based position requires venipuncture or fingerstick experience, valid phlebotomy credentials, and reliable transportation. Evening or weekend availability may be needed to cover local events.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following: Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed.
• Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
• Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA
• 1 year of experience of Health Screening or Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Have outstanding customer service skills, ability to work with limited supervision, professional demeanor and appearance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail; able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass a full background check; reliable transportation; computer / internet savvy
• Knowledge of collecting blood samples from patients; work independently and in accordance with safety policies and OSHA regulations

Responsibilities

• Perform and record biometric testing results including height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI
• Blood testing including fingerstick and/or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
• May require other duties as assigned

About the role: These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies.

What would make you successful in this role? Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills.
