Job summary

Paycom in San Diego, CA is seeking a Part-Time Live Scan Technician & Support to manage biometric services and provide essential administrative and logistical support across operations. The role includes fingerprint processing, ID verification, and fee reconciliations within California regulations.

The position reports to the Senior Director of Programs & Community Engagement and collaborates with the Director of Operations and Finance Specialist.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of customer service or administrative experience.
• Experience in nonprofit sector is a plus.
• Ability to comply with California DOJ and federal privacy regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with scheduling platforms, POS, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform Live Scan fingerprint captures for appointments and walk-ins per CA DOJ standards.
• Verify government IDs against state standards (e.g., driver’s license, passport, military ID).
• Process Live Scan forms and ensure accurate authorizing data before transmission.
• Manage client intake, scheduling, and issue receipts with ATI tracking numbers.
• Handle rolling fees, reconcile payments, and produce daily administrative reports.
• Maintain Live Scan equipment and coordinate with technical support.
• Protect sensitive information per privacy regs.
• Assist with off-site clinics and volunteer enrollment events.
