Job summary

Mindlance is seeking an IT Support Specialist for its Biometrics Hosted Services Center. You will handle customer and biometrics personnel calls, log and escalate issues, and assist with software deployment and system maintenance.

Role requires strong communication, experience with Windows/Linux troubleshooting, and familiarity with cloud services and databases. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT service/support environment.
• Familiarity with software releases and deployment processes.
• Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Linux desktops/servers.
• Some work experience with Cloud and databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication; customer-facing attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle IT support center calls from customers and Biometrics personnel.
• Log, troubleshoot, and escalate issues; provide status updates.
• Assist in selecting software to meet user requirements.
• Perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of computer systems.
• Support data center operations: monitoring, issue logging, and troubleshooting.
