Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Bio-Medical Technician to service and maintain a wide range of medical equipment across departments, ensuring patient and staff safety. The role involves using the CMMS database to track work orders, PM schedules, and asset information, while collaborating with medical and research staff to ensure proper equipment operation.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Bio-Medical Engineering/Electronics, 3+ years of healthcare tech experience, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Bio-Medical Engineering/Electronics or military equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years installing, maintaining and repairing medical/electronic/mechanical equipment; at least 1 year in Radiology, X-ray, Lab, OR, Dialysis, Anesthesia, Prosthetics or similar.
• Certification as Biomedical Technician (AAMI, CRES or CLES) preferred and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services medical equipment to ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Acts as a resource for partners and assists when needed.
• Uses CMMS to manage work orders, PM schedules, assets and inventory.
