Job summary

Renovo Solutions is seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform planned maintenance, inspections, and calibrations across a range of clinical equipment in healthcare settings. You will support medical staff and teammates to ensure safety and uptime.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years' hands-on biomedical equipment experience in hospitals, a technical degree, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with clinical biomedical equipment in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Technical degree or equivalent.
• Proficient with electromechanical and computerized biomedical devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
• Accountability – takes ownership of assigned work and follows items through to completion.
• Customer service mindset with focus on meeting customer needs.
• Knowledge of accrediting/regulatory bodies (TJC, DNV, CAP, DOH).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical patient care equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications and hospital standards.
• Install new equipment and conduct incoming inspections.
• Assist in troubleshooting and major repairs of complex equipment with senior technicians.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, performance assurance, and electrical safety on general biomedical equipment.
• Participate in special projects or upgrades as assigned.
