Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with clinical biomedical equipment in a hospital or clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical patient care equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications and hospital standards.
• Repairs can include the following: infusion pumps, patient monitors, defibrillators, etc.
• Install new equipment and conduct incoming inspections.
• Assist BMET teammates in troubleshooting and major repairs of complex equipment.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, performance assurance, and electrical safety on general biomedical equipment.
• Participate in special projects or upgrades as assigned.
