Job summary

Renovo Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform planned maintenance, inspections, and calibrations across clinical equipment in healthcare facilities. You will repair systems to ensure safety and reliability, install new devices, and document service activity in the CMMS.

The role requires 5+ years hands-on experience with hospital biomedical equipment, a technical degree, and strong problem-solving, communication, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with clinical biomedical equipment in hospital or clinical settings.
• Technical degree or equivalent.
• Proficient with electromechanical and computerized biomedical devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable interpreting error codes and using diagnostic software.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
• Accountability – takes ownership and follows through.
• Regulatory awareness of TJC, DNV, CAP, DOH.”

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical patient care equipment per manufacturer specs and hospital standards.
• Install new equipment and conduct incoming inspections.
• Achieve KPI targets while maintaining departmental standards and goals.
• Support BMET teammates and on-site supervisor/manager as needed.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, and safety tests on general biomedical equipment.
• Maintain service records in RenovoLive CMMS.
• Participate in special projects or upgrades as assigned.
