Job summary

Renovo Solutions is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform planned maintenance, inspections, and calibrations across clinical equipment to ensure safety and functionality. This role may support medical staff and teammates in a nationwide healthcare technology management environment.

The technician will troubleshoot, repair, install, and calibrate devices, work with clinical staff, and maintain service records in RenovoLive CMMS, while adhering to TJC, DNV, CAP, and DOH

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with clinical biomedical equipment in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Technical degree or equivalent.
• Proficient with electromechanical and computerized biomedical devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
• Accountability – takes ownership of assigned work and follows items through to completion.
• Customer-first service mindset and captures feedback to improve.
• Ability to interpret error codes and use diagnostic software.
• Regulatory knowledge of accrediting agencies (TJC, DNV, CAP, DOH).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical patient care equipment in line with manufacturer specifications and hospital standards.
• Install new equipment and conduct incoming inspections.
• Assist in troubleshooting and major repairs of complex equipment with senior technicians.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, performance checks, and electrical safety on general biomedical equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records in RenovoLive CMMS.
• Develop relationships with clinical and facility staff and communicate timelines clearly.
• Participate in special projects or upgrades as assigned.
