Job summary

Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a field-based maintenance professional to perform planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on a broad range of patient care equipment. You will manage equipment, schedule service and assist with PM procedures and documentation.

The role emphasizes on-site responsiveness, proper calibration of test equipment, and collaboration with service teams to ensure uptime and safety across facilities.

Qualifications

• Performs planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on patient care and selected support equipment.
• Maintains and schedules service for all assigned equipment.
• Performs pre-acceptance inspections and develops PM procedures; maintains procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Responds to clinical department calls to evaluate and rectify equipment issues.
• Researches and initiates orders for repair parts within budget parameters.
• Provides informal training to equipment users and staff as requested or required.
• Documents significant asset actions in compliance with department practices.
• Collaborates with technical staff to stay updated on device issues and updates.
