Job summary

Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineer to manage our medical equipment program within a healthcare setting. You will ensure safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance of medical technology.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in hospital-based equipment maintenance or management and a deep understanding of computer-based medical systems, networking, and information security as it applies to healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or CCE certification.
• Minimum three years hospital or healthcare experience in medical equipment management.
• Knowledge of computer-based medical systems, networking, and information security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a compliant medical equipment management program.
• Create a continuing education curriculum for medical technology staff.
• Manage recall and safety alert programs for medical devices.
• Lead capital asset and infrastructure planning for medical equipment.
• Advise staff on current and emerging medical technologies and safety.
