Responsibilities

The Biomed Site Lead oversees all aspects of service within their assigned account, including the professional management of the Equipment Management Program. This role is critical to the success of the program, with all duties and responsibilities flowing through the Biomed Site Lead. The facility's impression of the program's success hinges on this position. Professionalism, proactive problem-solving, and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience OR Associate’s degree plus 5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency with applicable test equipment and tools.
  • High self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations such as TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions.
  • Good business skills, confidentiality, maturity, tact, and ethics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations on operational and technical issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office, clinical applications, and CMMS systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and blueprints.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., A+, CBET, CCE, CHTM) are preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

The estimated total compensation range for this role is $66,996.80 to $97,032, with the exact offer based on experience, education, credentials, and other factors.
