Responsibilities

The Biomed Site Lead manages all aspects of service within their assigned account, including the professional administration of the Equipment Management Program. This role is crucial to the success of the program, with responsibilities influencing the facility's perception of its effectiveness. Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field plus 3 years’ experience OR Associate’s degree plus 5 years’ experience.
  • Competent in using all applicable test equipment and tools.
  • High self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations such as TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA.
  • Leadership, team building, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning, organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and propose solutions.
  • Good business skills, confidentiality, maturity, tact, and ethics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to prepare reports and deliver presentations on operational and technical issues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, clinical applications, and CMMS systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and read schematics/blueprints.
  • Technical certifications like A+, CBET, CCE, or CHTM are preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
