Responsibilities

The Biomed Site Lead oversees all service aspects within their assigned account, including the professional management of the Equipment Management Program. This role is critical to the success of the program, with responsibilities and program success directly linked to this position. Professionalism, a proactive attitude, and effective problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field plus 3 years’ experience OR Associate’s degree plus 5 years’ experience.
  • Proficient in all applicable test equipment and tools.
  • High self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Knowledge of standards such as TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA, and others.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and propose solutions.
  • Good business skills, confidentiality, maturity, tactfulness, and ethics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficient in report writing and presentations on operational and technical issues.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, clinical applications, CMMS systems).
  • Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and blueprints.
  • Technical certifications like A+, CBET, CCE, or CHTM are preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
