Responsibilities

The Biomed Site Lead manages all aspects of service within her/his assigned account, including the professional administration of the Equipment Management Program. This role is crucial to the success of the BSI Equipment Management Program, with all duties and responsibilities filtered through this position. The facility's perception of the program's success depends on this role. Professionalism, a proactive attitude, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field plus 3 years’ experience OR Associate’s degree plus 5 years’ experience required.
  • Competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools.
  • High self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations such as TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA, etc.
  • Strong leadership, team building, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions.
  • Good business skills, confidentiality, maturity, tactfulness, and ethics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations on operational and technical issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office, clinical applications, and CMMS systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and blueprints.
  • Technical certifications such as A+, CBET, CCE, or CHTM are preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license is preferred.

The estimated total compensation range is $66,996.80 to $97,032, with the exact offer determined based on experience, education, credentials, and other factors.
