Job summary

Brown University seeks a Manager, BioMed Shared Services to lead advanced research administration and team leadership within BioMed Shared Services. The role oversees high-level proposal submissions, budgets, and pre-award activities across multiple investigators, acting as a liaison among divisions, sponsors, and PIs.

The position also handles PSAs, contracts through BXM, and rebudgets. Ideal candidates will have aBachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel and grants

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required plus a minimum of 4 years of research administration experience
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Health, Biology, Health Science, Science, Engineering or Math preferred
• Higher-Education or non-profit work experience preferred
• And/or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Lead management of large, multi-investigator, complex proposal submissions
• Provide pre-award management including budget development, proposal assembly and submission
• Set up PSAs and contracts through BXM and manage rebudgets
• Initiate subaward agreements and liaise with sponsors and PIs
• Serve as an operational liaison between departments and collaborating institutions
