Ideal candidate brings 10+ years of research administration experience, strong communication skills, and ability to navigate sponsor rules and institutional policies while supporting investigators and departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field, or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant research administration experience.
• 3–5 years in a research academic environment with federal and non-federal funding.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with MDs and PhDs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research administrative activities across departments and with research administration, faculty, and hospital/university partners.
• Review pre- and post‑award matters and related funding transfers for proper reimbursement and allocation.
• Lead special research projects, grant proposals, and departmental/divisional reports and statistics.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor rules, institutional requirements, and regulatory approvals.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and assist with budget and payroll processes for research accounts.
