Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager for Western New York, based in West Henrietta, NY with regional travel. You will lead technicians in maintaining a 112,000 sq ft FDA-regulated biomedical facility and other properties, guiding planning, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or equivalent, universal refrigerant license, OSHA 10, HVAC cert, and 5+ years of related experience with 3+ in management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade school certificate required.
• Current Universal Refrigerant license, OSHA 10 and HVAC certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience; 3 years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility technicians and volunteers at complex biomedical facilities.
• Plan and oversee building systems, maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Direct preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and related equipment.
• Maintain operations logs and coordinate work orders and emergencies.
