Job summary

The American Red Cross in New York State is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to lead maintenance across multiple regulated sites, including the West Henrietta facility. You will supervise technicians and volunteers, advise on building systems, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), a Universal Refrigerant license, OSHA 10, and HVAC certification, with 5+ years of supervisory experience in lab, hospital, or cGMP

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Current Universal Refrigerant license, OSHA 10 and HVAC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility technicians and volunteers across regulated biomed facilities.
• Oversee planning for building systems, electricity, equipment repair and maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory operations meet compliance standards and maintain safety documentation.
• Coordinate and submit work orders; maintain operational logs and asset records.
• Travel 10-15% within the region to support multiple sites.
