Job summary

American Red Cross in West Henrietta, NY is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance of highly complex biomedical facilities and related properties across the region. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent trade school certificate required.
• Current Universal Refrigerant license, OSHA 10 and HVAC certification required.
• ASHE membership or ability to obtain and maintain preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably within laboratory, hospital setting, SDS or cGMP controlled environments.
• 3 years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility technicians and volunteers at highly complex biomed facilities.
• Act as onsite subject matter expert on building engineering and systems planning.
• Direct preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and related machinery.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and safety policies.
• Oversee maintenance work-order system and data logging.
• Coordinate budgeting, scheduling, and vendor relations.
