Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics team in West Chester, PA seeks an engineer to lead design and development of implants and instrumentation through product life-cycle. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure design inputs meet clinical needs, and drive regulatory readiness.

Requirements include a BS in engineering, 2+ years in medical device design, CAD fluency, and knowledge of GMP/QSR/ISO.

Qualificações

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in design and development of medical devices or biomechanical systems.
• Experience with CAD software (Pro-E, Creo, SolidWorks) required.
• Understanding GD&T, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes; knowledge of GMP/QSR/ISO preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development across product life-cycle within cross-functional teams.
• Technically lead design projects and collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, quality, testing, and regulatory teams.
• Engage health care professionals to define user needs and inputs.
• Develop verification/validation plans and support regulatory submissions.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and producible with cost-consciousness.
