Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Design Quality Engineer to support the DePuy Synthes portfolio across Trauma, CMF, and related orthopedic devices. This role focuses on launching and sustaining implants and instrumentation, applying technical knowledge to ensure performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a GMP and/or ISO regulated industry.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• English language skills: fluent.

Responsibilities

• Product development and lifecycle management for Trauma and CMF lines.
• Lead product realization planning and design reviews across development phases.
• Support design verification/validation activities including mechanical testing.
• Apply statistical methods and design tools to V&V activities.
• Support risk management and reporting across programs.
• Coordinate with suppliers for qualification of parts and processes.
• Lead transfer to manufacturing for development and base businesses.
• Drive design changes and cost improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Quality System elements and regulatory requirements.
