Job summary

CM Biomass in Houston or Savannah is seeking an Execution Analyst to manage the end-to-end execution of physical wood pellet trade contracts, coordinating shipment scheduling with plant operations, logistics providers, port operators, and vessel agents.

The role includes preparing trade documentation, entering data in Dycotrade via Dynamics 365 F&O, and serving as the primary contact for counterparties and freight providers to ensure timely and accurate settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in trade execution, commodity operations, freight coordination, or related role within physical commodities trading, shipping, or export-oriented business.
• Familiarity with bulk cargo shipping documentation, bill of lading processes, export trade compliance; experience with containerised shipment operations (FCL bookings, VGM declarations, demurrage/detention tracking).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with advanced Excel for shipment tracking, demurrage calculations, and execution reporting; familiarity with Dycotrade, CTRM platforms, or Dynamics 365 F&O is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; able to work flexible hours for international counterparty communications.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end execution of physical wood pellet trade contracts, coordinating shipment scheduling, vessel and cargo nominations, and delivery under laycan windows and terms.
• Preparing, reviewing, and managing trade documentation for domestic and export shipments (bills of lading, certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, VGM declarations, commercial invoices).
• Serving as the primary operational contact for counterparties, vessel operators, port agents, and freight forwarders; entering and reconciling trade data in Dycotrade within Dynamics 365 F&O.
