Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2-4 years’ experience in a Biomass facility or similar industrial environment.
• Able to read, write and understand English instructions.
• Able to interpret drawings, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair equipment including steam generators and turbines.
• Work rotating shifts, overtime and irregular hours as needed.
• Record data such as temperature, fuel consumption and pressures.
• Use procedures to adjust controls within prescribed operating range.
• Perform routine plant rounds and keep records.
• Assist with scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Comply with plant safety and regulatory procedures.
• Communicate clearly with plant personnel by radio and in person.
• Interpret lube oil analysis results and make recommendations.
• Proficiently write technical reports.
