Job summary

NAES Corporation seeks an Operations Manager for the Franklin Biomass Facility in Carnesville, GA. You will oversee daily plant operations, staff, fuel handling, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, reliable electricity generation and ongoing environmental stewardship.

This role requires supervising personnel, managing budgets, coordinating maintenance and outages, and driving continuous improvement across plant systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• Supervisory/management experience in power generation operations required.
• Knowledge of solid-fuel power generation systems and emissions control.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily plant operations and supervise Operations personnel for safe, reliable generation.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and control expenditures.
• Coordinate biomass fuel deliveries, handling, storage, and testing.
• Lead operator training, qualifications, and performance evaluations.
• Interface with grid operators and stakeholders to coordinate generation schedules.
