Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or Education with Biology focus.
• 3+ years in educational publishing or significant editorial experience.
• Experience with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) required.
• Experience writing/editing instructional materials for science classrooms preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Agile work environment adaptability and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with digital curriculum development.
• Classroom teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop high-quality instructional materials for digital and print.
• Research educational trends, standards, and competitive products.
• Produce scientifically sound products that meet curriculum standards.
• Prepare manuscript readability and grade-level appropriateness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet marketing, schedules, goals.
• Communicate project requirements to authors, consultants, vendors, editors.
